Hey guys, I posted something similar in Narrow Gauges, but since I don't know how many of you folks visit that forum I thought I would post here too. Hope that is ok. As some of you know, I am scratch building a roundhouse for our On30 C & S. The RH is based on the one at Como, Colorado. Anyway, since I can't really afford a lot of the commercial cast industrial machinery, scratching is my only hope. The other evening when I took a break from my Dissertation write up, I started fooling with parts from the parts box. What I came up with was a bandsaw inspired by the one John Widmar scratch built for his N scale Pueblo RH ( see his fabnulous work at: http://www.trainboard.com/grapevine/showthread.php?t=57451&page=9&highlight=Pueblo+Roundhouse ). I am calling my version the "Widmar Saw" in his honor. Anyway, here are the pics:
