NS renumbers newest locos

I saw a picture showing that NS had already renumbered their newest units, the GE ES40DC (Dash 9's) into a new number series... Anyone else seen this? Previously, they were numbered behind the existing Dash 9's; these newer units are GE's newest, emissions compliant offerings.

what road #'s are we talking here? cause i saw a pack of them heading west today, dont remember the # but ill let you know when the film comes back.

I believe they are being renumbered into the 7500 series.

 

ill have to go get stuff developed when i finish off this roll..... whenever that is.

Red Rock is correct... the latest GE's are being re-numbered into a 7500 series.....
