Flooding in Midwest and Forest Fires in Southeast

    May 8, 2007

Norfolk Southern has experienced flooding and a washout caused by the
heavy rain in the vicinity of Hardin, Mo. Traffic moving in the corridor
between Kansas City and Moberly, Mo., could experience delays of up to

    operations permit.

the north Florida area, the Department of Forestry has placed a stop on
all rail traffic through Eddy, Fla., for an initial period of 12 hours.
Traffic moving in the corridor between Valdosta, Ga., and Jacksonville,
