NS 7001(SD60E) along with NS 8837 and 2621 lead an 85-car empty grain train westbound by the Heartland COOP at Kellogg, IA. This train will drop off two IAIS ballast dumpers at Newton Yard before continuing westward to where the train will load at the Heartland COOP main campus in Des Moines. April 26, 2016
Since the fall of 2015. An agreement was made between the IAIS and NS to shuttle 80 trains between Peoria to Des Moines and back.
