How come there isn't much going on here in the Narrow Gauge section? I'm sure there are alot of narrow gaugers out there. Please sign in and let us know your scale. Even though I also model N as my primary scale, I've been modeling in On30. Colorado narrow gauge has always been a love of mine. I've dabbled in HOn3 but found it expensive at the time. With the introduction of Bachmann's On30 line of models, I've been able to enjoy modeling Colorado at a moderate price. Any comments?

Started out with HO, went to a combo of HO/HOn3 and now do Sn3. Still dabble in the other two once in a while.

Current On30 project is Mogul #1.

    Alterations are at this point,

1 Banta Model Works Wood cab kit and
    2 homebuilt coalboard extenstions.

Cab roof is .015 styrene because the wood roof would not conform to the curviture of the Banta cab.

Nice job there Catt. I do like Banta's cab kits. I haven't put one together yet, but they sure do build up into one nice looking cab.

As for narrow gauge, I'm into O and planning on a SP inspired On30 tourist line. Bachmann's 2-6-0 with a whale back tender pulling the passenger cars. Maybe a few freight cars for a railfan day. Have to get the layout started though.

I do HOn3 modules that I have designed for club use. I also have a 1 1/2" scale, 7 1/2" gauge Colorado Midland gondola that I am finishing and then will start on the 1 1/2" scale, 4 3/4" gauge Silverton equipment. I would also like to try and run On30 outdoors in my back yard. Now I need to convince the CFO to get a better job so I can quit having to deal with the nasty business of making a living!

David, welcome to TrainBoard. Sounds like you have most of the NG bases covered from big to small.
