It is also a Fallen Flag, but my thought is my question would be better suited here.

Does anyone know about the original Norfolk Southern Railway, specifically in the vicinity of Norfolk, Virginia? I am looking for information about an office there, which was named "Tidewater". (This is before 1974, when this company was still operated independently of what would become today's NS Corporation.) It was someplace in the area of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Was it within either of these communities?

If only someone had an employee timetable....

Not sure if it will help, but from an original NS Official Guide page is this snip, found at https://www.american-rails.com/images/ns-railway-list.jpg

https://w4mrw.org/railfan/NS Timetables/NS VA Div ETT #1 8-4-2008.pdf will take you to a 2008 NS Virginia Division Employee Timetable and if you search the file for 'Tidewater", you'll find some matches for Tidewater Junction on the Sewells Point Branch:

I am working on a new web page for my site, displaying my train orders from this company. I try as best as possible, to always properly identify and locate each issuing office.

So this location apparently would have been within the city limits of Norfolk. I also have an example copied at "Carolina", which was known to be within those city limits.
