no, i am not out of my mind...did Bachmann update their GP40?

    Again, it's a matter of cost. And those Roco origins actually ran very well. I still like their diesel sound without having had to install a sound module. Four or five Rio Grande, in their black livery, and I forget to look for those missing steps!

    I would never pay $39.99 for a Badman GP40...unless...it is a "BRAND NEW" Spectrum model. No way would I touch these old pieces of junk. As has been suggested here go look at Atlas and purchase their GP 40.

    My sucker light was on from the first and I bought up a bunch of these. Most are off the layout either in the trash or I gave them to kids that wanted a starter set. Seldom, did any of these last very long...most being dragged through the dirt. Where they belonged. Sigh!
