Photo backdrop from slides I took in Colorado. I pretty much followed the article by Roy Stevens in the Sept/Oct 07 N Scale Railroading. I altered the procedure slightly by only cutting away the lower part of the gear tower truck below the gears and the retaining pin. I then did not have to shim the body any to hold the truck.

Russell... nicely done. But they have the Rio Grande Southern at N Scale - N Scale DCC Equipped Locos.

    No Penn Central though. :(

Cody... beautiful work. Are you doing another loco any time soon? I'd love to see more pictures.

    Best!

    Thanks folks,
I don't think I'll be taking on another Nn3 loco anytime soon, not because I don't want to, just because I haven't got the time... And I'm up to my elbows in half finished HOn30, N & Gn15 projects!

And for those interested, here's a thread about the Porter:
    Nn3 Porter 0-6-0 - TrainBoard.com

And one about the 13x15 inch mini layout I run it on:
Railroad Line Forums - Nn3 Mini - Ferrocarril de IxtaccĂhuatl

& Russell, your stuff looks great! Especially the Goose, gotta love 'em!

Thanks. Here is the first Nn3 locomotive I built. It's a Republic Locomotive Works kit on a Marklin chassis.
