I saw the movie "The Station Agent" and thought it was pretty darn good. Has anyone been to Newfoundland New Jersey where it was filmed - any photos of the station there? If you haven't seen this movie, I recommend it for any modeler, railfan, or train-chaser.
Google Search: http://www.thestationagent.com/ Didn't Natalie Wood play in a movie like this about the L&N RR? "This Property is Condemned" Something like that.
I just checked the Starz web site - here's the schedule: Sunday July 17 Starz Edge (east) 12:40 PM Monday July 18 Starz (east) 2:35 PM Tuesday July 28 Starz Edge (east) 9:15 AM

Yes she did, "This Property Is Condemned" was filmed in New Orleans back in '65 or '66. Actually most foamers considered Natalie Wood merely a "supporting" actress...the real "star" was Reader Railroad Consolidation #1702. This loco was one of the last to be built by Baldwin during WWII for the US Army. The reason I remember it so well is because it was waiting for about 4 hours on an L&N passing siding near my house just panting, hissing, popping...ahhh, what lovely sounds. Reader Railroad #1702 (sorry the photo is so small, that's all I could locate.)
