Hello Folks. I have become more and more interested in the history of the C&O railroad as I have grown older. My great-grandfather was an engineer on the C&O for many years. He was killed in a massive boiler explosion on a 2-10-4 Texas Type outside of Chillicothe, Ohio in 1948. While I am partial to C&O history (including Chessie and now CSX), I enjoy railroad history in general. I would like to begin modeling as well. I am hoping to learn more on this board and find some advice from the experts! Thanks for having me.
