Do they make digital Z locomotives with factory sound? Is there a place to buy Z track packages for layouts on the internet like the store that sell N scale packages. Thanks Ron

Ron, factory equipped sound is not an option at this time. Just this year AZL locomotives with pre-installed DCC boards.

You can get some track packages, but it is fairly limited in the options. Most of the track packages are included in starter sets. Starter sets are available from Marklin, Micro-Trains and Rokuhan. Marklin offers the SET program which is a series of packaged track sections that when combined come out as a double loop with siding and switch yard. Here is an example of a Marklin SET 1 package:

A good example of a Marklin starter set is:

Rokuhan is starting to offer track packages. They offer a basic loop (R028), expansion track with oval (R047) and now a simple over-under design and double loop. We actually just received the over-under (R021) and double track loop (R062) from Rokuhan this week. The R021 is designed for their briecase layouts, but it can be used outside of the case. The curves may be a bit tight though for larger Z locomotives. You can find them here:

Micro-Trains offers a simple loop packaged together. Other MTL track is available packaged separately.

    I hope this helps!

No DCC with factory sound. You can get some AZL GPs with distributor installed DCC. I'm not aware of any complete layout packages, but you can get sets and there are some prefab layouts from people like Noch. You might want to checkout the Ztrackcenter.com site for the starter sets and DCC equipped GPs.
