Isn't it wonderful what engineers of both types can do sometimes! There is something wrong with people that there isn't a large crowd there to witness that incredible machine. Doug
I guess I thought of that and I did notice the people on the other side of the fence, but when we saw 4014 in Albert Lea in 2019, there was a large crowd surrounding the locomotive and Albert Lea is a relatively small town. Unless the powers-that-be wouldn't let the people get closer. Doug
A few seen off tom the left. Maybe a few behind the photographer. It would seem to me that usually there are folks everywhere around the site.
I thought the same thing. I mean, I know they were being very careful, like we modelers when we don't have bumpers at the ends of tracks , but you just hardly ever see that with the prototype. Doug
I doubt that those in charge there would let anyone anywhere near a million-pound plus hot steaming smoking monster machine while it's still moving!
