    Union Pacific Names New Superintendent At Wichita Service Unit
    WICHITA, KS -- Steve Truit has been named superintendent of transportation services at Union Pacific's Wichita Service Unit.
    Truit, 44, is responsible for an operation that averages 55 trains a day over more than 1,300 miles of track in southeast Kansas, Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.
    Truit began his railroad career with CSX Transportation Inc. in 1982 and has worked with Union Pacific since 2004.
    He replaces Brian Gorton, who has been named general superintendent for transportation services at the San Antonio Service Unit. Shane Keller, whom Gorton replaced, has been named assistant vice president of locomotive distributions. - The Wichita Eagle
