I just added a new photo gallery of SP photos to my website. They cover the period of 1987-1996 on Tehachapi Pass, the last years of the Espee. Here's a sample photo: For more photos, go to the "What's New" page on my website, and follow the link on the Sept 26 update. ------------------ Kevin Stevens www.trainweb.org/KernJunction

That is some photo kevin. That reminds me of what happened in Roseville about 25 or 30 years ago. We were living in Woodland at the time and we started hearing what sounded like explosions. we went outside and could see the flash and hear the explosions from the bomb train that exploded. At the time we didn't know what it was until we turned on the TV and and they had a special report about some cars loaded with bombs that were exploding. That was quite a site. Roseville is at least 35 miles from woodland.
