I model BNSF in 2001, but I am unsure of the signal type. I know about searchlights, but had the Type D signal come around yet? What was in use other than searchlights? Was there anything?
It really depends which subdivision you are modeling, and the history of it. Chances are yes, but you'd have to look at prototype photos.
Over on The Railwire it was talked about but apparently not enough people were interested for the project to move forward. I hope that is not the case... would really love to have some N&W CPLs to add along the right-of-way but...
If the prices you're showing are anywhere near accurate you will sell a potful - and if the modern block signals are in the same range, I'll probably replace the ones I now have just because these look better.
Thanks everyone! I'm excited to announce that all of my searchlight products will be available for sale this Saturday, August 20th. Over the next few days, I will post some more photos of the signals. I'll also provide details on delivery, which should happen within a month. We're writing instructions, making diagrams, and finalizing code right up until then. David
I also use the CML SIGM20, CML sold their business to Sig-naTrak and their products are still available. https://www.signatrak.co.uk/ These new signals look good and are priced competitively too, if they work with the SIGM20 I'm sold.
