Z SCALE FRIENDS; Beginning today, and until Christmas, SEARAILS will celebrate 2006 with a weekly new product introduction on its website. This week's new product introduction is an Intermodal Container Forklift (IM-1). Please see and reserve your model at www.searails.com. Added to our product line of Rapid Prototype Z scale Models (0.003" tolerance details) will be a variety of new structures, vehicles, rail cars and Rail Served Heavy Industry Modules. We also will announce a variety of contests similar to the Small Station Contest (selections for voting to be announced Nov. 1, 2006) which will allow the Z scale modeling community a direct voice in SEARAILS new product development. Any hints Jim? I'm doing my budget for 2007 now. Gotta plan. Any update on when the whalebelly tank cars will be delivered? For me, later is not neccessarily a bad thing. ;-) Randy
Randy, The Whalebelly is on track for Christmas release. We should see the final RTM body prototype on Tuesday, and the etched steel (walkways, railings, brake) in two weeks. If you look at the posting of the IM Module on the Intermodal Group you should be able to see quite a few of our prototypes, as well as tomorrow's release of the IM-1 Container Forklift and 40' ribbed Container.
