Fortunately, the MAJORITY of people in the New Orleans area demanded that the display be put back up, so it was. It's a sad commentary that, for a while, a small bunch of self-appointed, humorless people got their way. "Hmm... I wonder where my tree-house went..."
I live West of Houston (Texas) and it snowed Christmas Eve last year. Enough to cover the ground in some areas and the roofs. That was the first time ever. So it couild be snow.
