Take a look their new product announcement! http://www.broadway-limited.com/ Looks like we will have a choice other than Bachmann. They have recieved rave reviews on their other steam engines. I bet this one will be equaly good also. Greg Elems
Also in the news...Prescision Scale is currently floating the idea of a K-27, and Bachmann has just announced that in addition to their Climax, they will be producing an OUTSIDE FRAME 2-8-0 slated for release in 2004. So, I guess we'll see it a year or so later.
Nice looking engine with factory installed sound. It is a little pricey at $269 and $279 US as compared to Bachmann stuff but it has sound. [ 23. August 2003, 17:00: Message edited by: Grantha ]
It is pricey, but it has a die cast chassis. I also have seen it advertised for less on our very own InternetTrains.com a couple days ago. Also, Bachmann isn't DCC ready, or at least their 2-6-0 wasn't. Sure is hard to stay focused on my standard gauge 70's era with neat stuff like this coming out. Greg Elems [ 24.
