    Hello from ghettofabulous Colorado Springs!

Starting a new layout in n scale... in my RV...

First up will be the shelf layout. and a wild helix..

    Prepare for many questions!

Welcome aboard! There's plenty of great modelers here, and loads of N scale experience from which to draw.
Feel free to ask any question you can think of!

    Thanks Hemi!

Sadly.. I have a great space for the lower layout... but no clue for a trackplan... My Lady is helping. And excited! Her only wishes are the part of town on the "wrong side of the tracks," and Denvers Union Station... So here I sit.. looking at an empty space of 6' 8" by 41". Lol thats the space for the lower layout.

The shelf or upper layout was easy to work out!

Heck, the wrong side of the tracks could be Fountain...or Carson...

    Welcome aboard, neighbor!

Welcome to TrainBoard, Shifty. I believe you are the first one I have ever heard of that is building a layout in a RV! Keep us posted. :)

Welcome aboard, Shifty. Great "handle" opinion of another old guy. Colorado Springs is a great place, and I lament the closure of the restaurant near the tracks (Giuseppes?). Understand that the 168 on display there for years will be moved and restored to operation.

Yep that was the name. most all of the good resturaunts closed. now its just your roach infested standard fare. town has gone way downhill, hence, ghetto...

Thank you for the warm welcome though!

The old 168 is having new life breathed into it and will be doing it's duty on the cumbres and toltec railroad. that is very good to see!
