Anyone have the new NS loco directory book from Withers Publishing? I have the past editions and actually just ordered it online, using a link I saw from the Trainboard site.

    Any reviewers?

No, it is not put out by NS, but is a very high quality product. Lots of pictures and data; I love their books (Withers Publishing) as well as their magazine, Diesel Era.

I agree with you about Withers Publishing chessie. Their NS pubs are by far the most accurate. I live here in the great midwest (OK, just a fancy name for Illinois) and information about NS is hard to come by. I used to subscribe to Railfan and Railroad (or the other way?) by Carstens. Had to cancel it when the editorializing about the conrail takeover came down to fighting words.... Anybody recall when the term Black Plague was used to describe NS?? I can, if I can find the LAST ISSUE I will EVER own of R & R!! :)

oh yeah, diesel era is a great magazine also!

    have a good holiday everyone!
