Burt Industries of Altamonte Springs FL is
doing a very limited run of the PACECO 30T
Port Crane kits based on the model first scratchbuilt by Bernie Kempinski of Northern VA NTRAK

A photo of Bernie's crane can be seen below

Bernie advised that Burt Industries does not have a catalog or website, and is making/
selling the kits by word of mouth. No mention of kit pricing. For those members in the USA, he did list a phone number for Burt Industries at (407) 862-8889

I have seen the kit and will put in a few comments. The kit will sell for probably 150-200 dollars and its mostly cast in one huge piece. The castings were a bit rough, but some cleanup filing will get rid of that, but everything looks very impressive. Compared to the prototype, this crane is actually on the small side, but it still gives off that "huge" look. This is a perfect kit to detail, adding lots of Gold Medal Models, Alkem Scale Models, and brass wire parts will make it shine. Hope this helps a bit.
