Micro-Trains' Chicago Hobby Show special for this year is a five-pack titled "Chicago to LA - Santa Fe all the way!" It's a five pack of Santa Fe 50 foot express boxcars featuring the map herald on one side and a different name train on the other. They are painted pullman green with yellow lettering and ride on MTL's brand new Allied Full Cushion Trucks. Apparently this is one of the protoypes that Micro-Trains has waited to do after the Allied trucks were available. Catalog Number 34262 will list for $81.25 (US) MSRP and is officially scheduled to be an October 2001 release.
