    Hi Everyone,

Guess I'll introduce myself, as it is the general idea of this forum :)

I was first introduced into trains by my dad, when i was about 5ish - I still remember the old Life-Like set with the steel rails, and the GP38 done up to look like an Australian National loco.. Since then I've dabbled in HO, OO, N, Australian, American, English, Continental.. all in various forms.

I have started a double deck N Scale Layout in the garage, the Steino Subdivision, in the past I have built mostly 8x4's, and a couple of OO gauge model railways

Apart from trains I work in IT and am learning to fly model aircraft, my other hobby...

    Thanks for looking!

    -Stin.

Hi Stin, welcome to the TrainBoard, we're glad that you are on board. You certainly have a diversified history with model railways, but your latest sounds the most ambitious and exciting. We'd love to see the plan you have in mind and photos of your progress.

Welcome aboard! Feel free to look around, post and reply, we're a friendly place with a lot of knowledgeable members. Model Planes eh? Nice to see another winged modeler. I work for a Model Airplane magazine here in the states and enjoy flying both free flight and RC scale aircraft.

    Glad to have you aboard!
