Just getting into trains after more than 40 years ago. My first set died after Christmas and never did learn how to fix it. Was too young to know how. So it's long gone. I do recall it being a Hornby set. With Covid ongoing, I was watching James May on Prime about Hornby and trains, so I picked up a President Choice train set before Christmas and am now addicted. I have bought a few more used locos to fix up and slowly learning more about cleaning and repairing trains. As I already had a Raspberry PI 3+, I acquired an Arduino Mega and motor shield and am now playing with DCC++. So this leads into buying a few more locos with DCC and figuring how to plan a larger layout to run several trains at once. This all feeds into my desire to learn new things and fixing things. It's also unfortunately another hobby to feed my acquisition disorder: fountain pens, wargame miniatures, board games... Cheers All!!! Patrick
