New Locomotive

    I was informed by John at Pacific Scale Rail in New Westminster that Life Like (Canada) will be introducing an N Scale MLW C-424 in late August.
    The locomotive will be limited Run and will be offered in CPR Tuscan and Grey (8200 Series), CPR Tuscan and Grey (4200 Series), Action Red with 5" Stripes, Action Red with 8" Stripes, CN with Safety Stripes, CN with Wet Noodle and Undecorated.
    My understanding is that it will be run in only one number of each paint scheme.
    Although it isn't posted on any of the sites which I have checked so far, (I was informed on Wednesday) I imagine that an announcement will be made soon.

    Just received the following by e-mail today:

    "LifeLike Canada has just announced a Special Run of C-424's in Canadian Road
    Names -

    CP in Maroon & Grey in Script - 2 Road Numbers to be Announced

    CP Rail in the MultiMark and the Striped Cab Front - 2 Road Numbers to be
    Announced

    CN in the Bloody Nose and the White Wet Noodle - 1 Road Number to be
    Announced

    CN in the Sergeant (or Zebra) Stripes - 1 Road Number to be Announced

    And Undecorated as well.

    The quality of the of this N Scale Locomotive will absolutely amaze you. It
    is the first N scale C424 ever made that we are aware of and it is only
    available in Canadian Roads. This Locomotive will not be run in the US at
    this time and there are no plans to run this locomotive in the future.

    These locomotives will be very limited to only 180 of each."
