Yes, actually have it bookmarked - it's one of the resources I checked out working on the yard.

    Thanks

My last (first) layout was Unitrak, a 4x8 folded dogbone and I have a lot of it. When I started to work on this new layout (I moved and had to start over) it too was going to be all unitrak with their new super-elevated double track. I though the yard would look better without the kato roadbed so decided to try using flextrak there and that's how this has developed.

As the rear of the layout, except for the yard area, is a bit more difficult to reach I wanted to minimize any problems so, as you can see, it is barebones straight track, with one broad curve and the unitrak will be a good fit there. Some of that will also be in a tunnel. Also, the 80 # kato track should be appropriate I think for the double track mainline running around the layout.

To date I have had no experience with Atlas track or turnouts and this will be a learning experience for me so I welcome your comments and suggestions, particularly before I buy any.

    Thanks Jerry

P.S. I plan on running Digitrax DCC if that makes any difference.

    Thanks
