Thanks Don! This is great news for N-Scale!!! I'm sure they'll sell out instantly. One thing I noticed on Kato's site that I thought was very cool...

"MHC-2 cars are expected to be equipped with trucks that have pickup contacts. This will facilitate modeler installation of aftermarket End of Train / Flashing Rear End Devices (EOT/FRED). "

Pretty nifty....

Great news!!!!! Its about time. Now, how many people think they will see these starting in March/April. If they do deliver on schedule it would be a great way to spend a tax return [IMG] . Now if deluxe gets those roadrailers released life will be good! Great work KATO!

Good Grief! All these new releases in April! I already have 2 Atlas Dash8-40B's in CSX on order. Now I gotta somehow come up with another $400 or so on an Amtrak train?
I gotta get another part time job to finance all this stuff. [IMG]

I think Atlas and Kato are going to have to start working out a power-by-the-hour arrangement for us, like BN did with EMD and GE. I'm thinking 5 cents per hour would be ok. :D

I just do as the 1:1 scale folks do and sell the old and tired (In my case the SD45's) to finance the new :D

I'm betting my money on an early May release.

WHERE IS THE VIA? Where is the Phase V? I would have liked this release alot more if they had more veriaty than just two paint schemes when there are about 8 that I know of. Kato has done that many before, so why not now??

Thanks for any info,
