Greetings! I'm Jon from the Florida coast, and I'm here to see what some people do with their builds and train collections. I've debated over the years on the shape my layout will take, so I'm always looking for ideas. Do I build a small town with a mainline and a logging operation on a narrow-gauge spur, or try to recreate a small section of the long-gone Orange Belt Railway which had a section run not far from where I live? Both have merits, but I can't decide yet. I don't yet have a decent space for a build, so I'm thinking of how I want to make my build more manageable. I'm leaning towards a garage wall shelf build, but I'm not decided yet. I'm a fan of little shunting/dockside locomotives, so expect to see them in my future posts!
