Hello all. I'm a long time O and Ho guy who jus moved into N last year. A lot is common but I am having issues with re-motoring engines. I have an Atlas E8 at the head of my Pennsy passenger train and with a dummy B and A following, there is little power for cars. To add to the challenge, I have a 2% grade coming off a bend. Probably not the best way but it's what I got. On some boards I'm a member of, the issue of re-motoring has been discussed. The usual thought is buy newer engines, which is simple if you're wealthy, but not as much fun.
I'm open to any ideas or info on what others have done...

Hi, Welcome to the train Board, glad to have you on board. I agree with Ken, many on our N-Scale have re-motored lots of engine types in all sorts of configurations. So hop on over, get acquainted, and ask away.
