Glad to be here. Was never on a train forum before. I know I'll learn a lot and maybe someone can tell me about where to go in Massachusetts to view trains. Cape Cod seems mighty quiet in that area. Grew up in Bakersfield and Ventura, California, hence the So Pac logo. I remember clearly the Southern Pacific freight trains coming by in our neighborhood and how much fun it was to see "BLT" on the sides of them, and the dates.

Hi, Welcome to the TrainBoard. I too am far from the lines I grew up near, hence the B&M Minute Man logo. I'm sure you'll have some suggestions for train watching from folks in your area. Face it, from the mid-Cape, you're probably no more than 100 miles from some major activity.
