hello! my name is Evan, aka enekuda, I'm from Bellevue Nebraska! I used to play with model trains as a kid at my grandparents and now that I'm an adult (well as adult as you can be at 21, with a wife and own your own house that is) either way I have worked my way back into the hobby! I have already browsed around quite a bit and love it so far! I hope to post up some pictures of the layout I'm starting soon.
Welcome to TrainBoard! Twenty one? That was my age, the first Christmas after marriage. My wife knew I loved trains and had owned Lionel and American Flyer, etc, plus done some HO growing up. So gave me an N scale set, and forty years later......
Hi Evan (aka enekuda), Welcome to the TrainBoard, we're happy to have on board. "enekuda" is an interesting word. Google turned up nothing other than "nekuda", without the leading "e", which is an adverb meaning motion. Is there a connection? Whatever, hope you enjoy re-immersion into the Greatest Hobby.
Great that you found us, and don't worry, none of us will admit to being completely grown up yet...Look forward to seeing your work.
Welcome Evan, don't let these guys bother you , we all love a challenge ( and so do you) or we would be sitting on the daveno knitting something or another !! Retired at age 63, missed by 25 years ... oh well . Evan, do not let a day go by, that you did not enjoy something !!!! Happy Trails Paul
