Hi all, My Name is Jasen and I live by Columbus Ohio and I'm 47 years old. I am into HO scale trains, 3D Printing and RC anything, but mostly airplanes. I use Raspberry Pis for several things and a ton of Arduinos for you name it. if we can think it, we can build it. My layout currently use Raspberry Pi 3B+ as the computer running JMRI and a classic DCC++ Base Station with Ethernet and Arduino motor shield. I have add many Pro Minis and other Megas to do automation on my layout such as Turnouts, an Arduino mega stepper driver controller for a turn table, a custom built Funicular, automated water tower with sound, coal buckets, automated crossing gates with sound and lights, an operating Bascule Bridge, Arduino Pro Mini DCC Booster, an Arduino Pro Mini based current monitoring system for DC voltage power distribution (5v,8v, 17v and 24v) for layout auxiliaries and finally 32 Block Occupancy sensors that still need some noise reduction work. Any Help? Ha Ha. I'm somewhat a VBA /VBS, C++(Arduino IDE) and starting in Jython/Python programmer. Master at none! My work background is Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Technology. My work was in need of some programming so I took it up now I'm that guy at work aside from my primary duties. Anyways I'm here specifically for the DCC++ / DCC-EX Support. Thank you, Jasen

Hi everybody, I wish to introduce myself as a new member: i am now 58 and into model railways since my childhood (my father was a train driver). Besides European railways, I am keen on US railroads, with a special interest for landscapes and structures. I believe I will find a lot of useful tips in this environment.
