Last night saw my first ad for Paul Faulk's new book, "Seaboard Air Line In Color - Volume 1" - ordered it this a.m. from Morning Sun.
Have just spent an enjoyable couple of hours reading Mr. Faulks new book "Seaboard Air Line In Color - Volume 1 - Motive Power and Memories." Morning Sun Books has done its' usual fine job of binding and color rendition. And Mr. Faulk has put foreward some extremely rare color photos that I never would have thought existed. If you have an interest in the Seaboard, or southeast railroading in general, I can only highly recommend it. Now looking foreward to Volume 2 - trains, operations, and locations - sure hope there's a lot on the old East Carolina line.
