With all the comments on the size of the Concor heavy versus the Bmann light 2-10-2 I decided to do some research in a couple of places. First my collection of Locomotive Encyclopedias and then the WWW. In short what I came up with is the Concor loco is about 5-6 feet too long in N scale feet. One site stated it is 3/8th of an inch too long which still comes out about 5-6 N scale feet. One prevailing thought is in order to get the 63 inch drivers under it, with the flanges that are oversized at that time in N scale, it had to be stretched. It also sits a little too tall. Both the Heavy and light 2-10-2s should be close in length with the heavy maybe about 6 inches longer. Riding on 63 inch or larger drivers would make the heavy a little taller but not by as much as the Concor is. So Bmann's light 2-10-2 is pretty much on the money as far as dimensions.

The difference in 57 inch and 63 inch drivers in N scale is about 1/2 N scale foot which from about three feet away isn't very noticable if at all. Air pumps are where they need to be, length is right, have a brand new big Bmann Vandy sitting in storage, and if I can just shoehorn a Belpaire on it. Just maybe next weekend hmmm---- . Back to studying photos.

Well, after reading all the good thongs about B-Mann I bought the light 2-10-2.
Most of the claims are true.
The documentation is sparse or non existent. Does anyone have a CV list for the decoder or does anyone know who made it?
    Thanks in advance.
