I like them MoPacs! Nice crisp detail and close to my freelanced scheme. I might have to put those on my birthday list! <img src=http://www.trainboard.com/sigbreak.gif> Russ
Yeeaaahhh! If I buy nothing else in N the rest of the year itwill be all three of the DT&I GP-38's! (Now for some GP-40's in the star logo )
Those new autos will be nice. N scale is really in need of these modern autos. I am glad to see them coming. Hope everyone will buy some so that they will be inclined to do more! The only problem is why did it have to be a Ford though. What about all us Chevy fans out here that want a car.
I guess Atlas has something going on with Ford. We have Ford pick-ups, tractors and now the Taurus. I'm still glad to see some modern cars that don't need glue and paint.
it figures as soon as i get my mopac's done guess what they do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone wanna buy an airbrush? just kidding, at least they are doing the old blue buzzsaw scheme for the mopac. and hey i can model my wife's car now too!
Auto makers require a licensing agreement to sell products with their trademark brands. From my experience with the auto industry, Ford Motor company has the easiest to work with policies, and Daimler Chrysler the hardest, GM is somewhere in between. Since Ford is more generous with their licensing agreements this is perhaps why Atlas has offered Ford related items. They realize the advertising and PR value of such agreements.
Hip-hip hooray! The MOPAC Geeps will definitely be on my layout soon, and keep those new numbers on the 90 tons coming!
