I just wanted to say hello, I am getting back into trains after a very long vacation. I have collected both N and HO equipment over time, but I just can't make a decision. Looking to start small and just like the guage, I can't decide what to model. I am looking at of course the Cowboy line of Northern NE and SD of the Colony line portion. Considering a small Grainger shortline (NCRC) or the Florida East Coast from Bowden yard to Melbourne. So any opinions would be great. Have a 10 x 11 room the wife will let me have to work in. So please feel free to give me your thougths.

    Thanks.

Welcome aboard. We are glad to have you.

This forum is just for welcomes and introductions so if you want more input on your questions, we would direct you to the Inspection Pit forum or the Layout Design Discussion forum. Both of those are in the modeling category on the main forum page. More people are likely to respond in those forums.

Howdy cowboy! Perhaps you could try some small dioramas to see which scale you prefer working in? Whichever way you end up going, have fun!
