I have decided to place a small yard on my working layout. I have realized the track plan will require me to have a dual track viaduct or pier system cross over the yard on a 2% grade, heck I have even seen a girder and pier setup at the LHS. I have done a little searching but I am honestly looking for inspiration as I know the kits exist. Please show me what you have done to or pictures you have seen that make this work. Even non-rail bridges over a yard would help.

I don't want to go off ordering a kit before I see it first hand so please share your experiences/gripes/suggestions. Thanks.

    Here is my trackplan.

As you can see on the far left side of the layout there is a dual main. That will begin to rise on a 2% grade as it straightens out from the curves. To the right of that I am thinking about tightening up the curve a bit and getting rid of the "horseshoe" shape, then expanding on the 2 sidings and running them straight under the main. I still have to experiment with this but I do believe I can get a 3-inch rise on the mains before they have to cross over the new "yard". The yard will expand to three sidings with a few turnouts for the switcher to "escape". Hopefully this has been descriptive enough.
