Hi Gang... I just can't get this signal to work with my switch machine... the signal is a three light. it has three wires with diodes and one wire with no diode. I did get the red light to go on. I have the red wire to # 1 on the tortoise and the wire with no diode to # 8. Now what do I do with the rest of wires  [IMG]

  2. Hi Mike,

Not sure what your trying to do. Do you want the red and green lights to indicate which way the switch is turned? What is the end result you want?

In case you haven't figured this out yet...

Pins 1 and 8 are for the powering the tortoise motor.

Pins 2,3,4 and 5,6,7 are grouped as switch contacts. Think of pin 4 and 5 as the two outputs. Then, depending on the direction the tortoise is thrown, 4 will be matched with either input 2 or input 3. Pin 5 will be matched with either input 6 or input 7.
