Need Atlas GT GP40-2 shell

    I am looking for an Atlas GP40-2 shell in Grand Trunk, any number or unnumbered. I have loads of shells, parts and chassis to trade.

    You may have already considered this, but you can get undecorated shells for GP40 series locos direct from Atlas (www.atlasrr.com). They're suprisingly cheap. The GTW paint scheme seems like it would be fairly simple to custom paint and decal. Remember, if you do order from Atlas, the cab, handrails, and sills have to be ordered in addition to the "shell" (which consists of the hoods only).

    i have 1.what do you have as far as bnsf or bn for shells?atlas or kato?

    Thanks for the reply. I am trying to do a simple project of making a DT&I in GT paint. It is easy to remove the logos from shells with a little acetone. Great way to make quick repaints. Made a pretty impressive CN SD40-2 in tiger stripes this way.
