My votes (no recount necessary here ): Yes on the hat & T-shirt, no on the rest. Yes on scale modeled And......a write-in vote for industries we have on our layout (could help in car interchange )
Yes on the shirts (I orderd 2 yesterday). Sweatshirts are to hot for me. Hats are Ok also. I like the button on the front and either button or the 2 train logo on the back. Yes to the scale display. No hanging chads here, and there will be no recounts from this locale. [ 01 March 2001: Message edited by: leghome ]
The store has been modified AGAIN. The white shirts have the NARA button, front and back. The gray shirts have the button in front and the steam/diesel logo on the back. Vote with your VISA cards guys, or abstain by leaving it alone. I don't make a cent on this. Your transaction is with Cafe Press. Like most art, you either like it or you don't, and like most artists, my work is my expression and not that of a committee. If we all liked the same thing, we'd all pick the same prototype, the same scale, and the same track plan. Now excuse me, I'm gonna go play trains...
Here we go again. I posted this yesterday but somehow it has vanished. The results of the voting shows a clear majority for a T-shirt with the NARA button logo on the front and the steam deisel logo on the back. Now I see Ed has changed this again to a large NARA logo on the back for the white T-shirt. This is not what the majority want. Thank goodness the grey T-shirt has it right. This is why I asked earlier for no changes to be made until after the vote summary was complete. Very few show interest in a sweat shirt. The next popular item is a cap or hat. Cafepress don't handle this according to Ed so does anyone know where a cap or hat with our logo could be made? On other issues Not enough interest in showing the scale in the members list so that won't happen. There was some desire to have a freight car exchange but with varying scales that may be difficult and leave that up to members to negotiate between them selves. Another interest is showing the industies we have on our layouts. Anyone interested in creating a data base of industries that we can share? A warning about Cafepress. I was shocked to find I was charged $7.00 for shipping on a $14.99 purchase so buyer beware [ 02 March 2001: Message edited by: Robin Matthysen ]
