Just... incredible. I can smell the hot, dusty air from here!

All you need is a period gas station module, for the trifecta!

And, of course, a few "empty" dusty road modules thrown in between, for good measure.

Oh, and a module with an empty, dusty highway, and a billboard: "Indian Trading Post, 1 mile ahead!"

I love the roadway. Do you have a tutorial on how you made the road?

craft chipboard (cardboard) cut into 2 inch widths, painted gray, and fine tip Castell artists ink pens used to draw cracks.

This corner is pretty much done. The water isn’t 100% dry yet but close enough for photos. I may still add some details but it’s presentable for our next show in September.

Thanks Boxcab, thanks Deacon. I had a lot of fun doing the scenery on this module.

Interesting juxtaposition of the colorful house and car on one side of the tracks, with a black lake and dark gray house on the "other side of the tracks."

Thanks Andy. I tried to locate the elements to create visual interest.

If you paint eyes on the surface just right, they will appear to follow the viewer as he moves around the module.

I used Mod Podge. It comes in gloss (red label) and matte (yellow label) finishes. I used gloss.
