I'm afraid i've turned into somewhat of a collector of N-Scale locomotives. Actually I think it's a sickness. Everytime a new one comes out, I start getting the shakes. Anyway I thought I would get a website going to share what I've accumulated over the years. Here's a sample of two pages. Click on the link on the second page to go to the website.

    Thomas,

I am not so much impressed by your quantity as I am the quality. Those are some nice, detailed looking units!!! Great close ups as well. I have bookmarked your site and would certainly love to see more (especially of the layout ;) )

If you are looking to sell or trade any of your CP stuff, I am more than willing to entertain the thought. :D

rush2ny: not much of a layout at this time. I thought by now all the kids would be out on their own, but no such luck. I guess I'll have to wait a little longer until I can get that dream size layout. For now it's just a little layout with a big imagination.

Jerry: That CP unit is the only one I have. I decided on CP rather than the conrail loco in the SD80 Mac, which is the only two my train store had.

    Thanks any way mate!!
I will have to find the units I am looking for another way.
I have few that I kinda jumped at when I saw them. I will eventually get rid of those.
I am trying to stay with CP and not mix too much.
Right now I have a pair Kato E8/9's, a pair of Kato RS2's, a pair of Atlas-Trainmasters all in maroon and grey. A pair of Atlas TH&B's, a Mikado (new) in Daluth, Winnipeg and Pacific.
An SD90 Mac, an SD40-2 Snoot, both Kato and an Atlas GP35 Maroon/Grey. And the stranger of the bunch, a BR86 steam-Kato..
So you see I am not doing too badly for someone two years in the hobby. [IMG]
I like to have things in pairs , so I need to get another SD90 and SD40 and a Mikado and a Gp35.
I am a Kato nut, not to say Atlas does't have some good stuff. ;) ;)
I promised myself I would not deviate from Kato, but when I saw the Trainmasters and the gp9's in THB's colours I had to have them.
The best of the whole litter have to be the E8/9's and SD90, RS2's and SD40's.
I really believe we are in the "Good Old Days" of model railroading. We will look back and say that was some of the best ever.
Just my opinion, not yours!! :D :D

    Jerry,
Looks like you got yourself a roster going also. I know what you mean about buying in pairs. I should have bought two of the Atlas Rio Grande SD-50s, instead I only bought one. You are doing good for only two years into the hobby as you said.

Sounds impressive, Jerry. I also wanted to stick with Kato, but Kato just doesn't do all the engines I want to have, thus I pick and choose.

Here's my roster for the BNSF/ATSF:

    Atlas: 3xSD-60 (2 H2, 1H1), 2xSD-60M (EMD Demos)

    Kato: 3xDash-9(1 H1, 1 H2, 1 ATSF), 2xSD40-2 (H2)

    Bachmann: Dash-8, 4-8-4 Northern.

    LifeLike: 2xE8/9

Whereas Kato and Atlas are pretty much consistant in their quality, Bachmann's and LifeLike's are to be judged on a case-by-case basis.

You can never have too many. I picked up an Atlas SD45 over the weekend painted in the Kodak (SPSF) colors!
