so with my shay Arriving yesterday, and the class B climax running better than ever, AND the class C climax Pulling like a climax should even thought it isn't finished, I figured I'd take a few roster shots. so here they are! Class B Climax No. 4 Shay No. 7 Class C Climax No. 6 Class B Climax No. 2 As for the Shay, mine ran really rough and noisy until I got about a hour or two of running time in each direction, now it is smooth as silk. I have a little click in it when it runs in reverse, but it is working it's self out.
My friend's Shay had a click in it, and by accident I found a fix. Turn it upside down in your hand and shake it gently. Weird, but it fixed the problem. mg: I think some valve gear got stuck, so turning it upside down made it fall back into place.
