I wanted to model a medium sixed bridge in N scale, but if you look at the market, there are no "cheap" big bridge in N scale. So I "borrowed" one from the HO scale and adapted to the new dimension. I got a double track bridge with very few modifications and the whole process was very cheap. I posted it on the web, so if you want to see how I did it, please go to: www.plasticando.com and follow the link you find at the bottom of the page! Ciao,
Giovanni, thanks for posting the picture. That is an excellent idea, and looks GREAT ! Also enjoyed the movies at your website. Thanks for the heads-up on them. Bill
Giovanni, thats a very nice website, but could use an English translation. That bridge looks great. [ 23. March 2003, 02:47: Message edited by: Catt ]
Good idea for all us N gaugers Giovanni. Nice bridge. Wow you have a lot of photos at your website. The pictures have a common language we all understand
Giovanni: That's an impressive looking bridge, and a nice website. I'm really impressed (read: jealous) of how realistic a lot of that stuff looks.
Thanks to all for the positive comments on the "little" job I've done on the layout! I hope I will able to translate the whole site in few weeks (actually I know something in english language, but I know I'm not the best translator you can get! My girlfriend can speak english and german... maybe I will ask her for the site!) The best part of the work is that it has been done on a portable layout, so I was able to show it in a commercial hall in Italy. I had some 15.000 visitors during 2 BUSY days! Ciao,
Here are two shots I forgot to send yesterday (and I forgot to get on the article too!. This is the bridge and the valley before painting and adding texture and vegetations... and here is the bridge with some more vegetations... ciao,
