A variation was once made in white metal by somebody but I can't remember the name. I have a couple of them...I'm sure someone will chime in. They are no longer made, as far as I know.

It would be a nice item to have available though, pretty common detail.

    Brass Car Stops for Sidings

I just solder small brass pieces to the railtops and then paint and weather them. Here I painted them orange.

I will add that when these are soldered to railtops, they are a tiny knife waiting to slice the hand of the unsuspecting track cleaning person. Maybe that is another topic. :)

HAYES WHEEL STOPS (N-HO-S-O-G) Manufactured by: Tomar Industries In stock at Walthers

Cast white metal "stops" protects your spur ends. They won't come off when bumped by a car. Used on heavy or lightweight service. Hayes Wheel Stops Type SF come four per pkg. in N-HO-S-O scales and two per pkg. in G scale.

I hope this will help you find them.

As Flash said, you can make them a lot cheaper by using scrap brass pieces than by going out and buying them.

It shouldn't take long to turn out quite a few of those for your sidings.

The wheel stops in the photo below were made by Selley, now owned by Bowser, but they no longer make N scale details.

There is someone who makes them in NScale I've got a few of them around. I'll look. Seems to me they were dirt cheap too. our LHS stocks 'em.
