Mystery Decoder Tester

    Thanks RRodzinsky and tjdreams. Took your advice and tested tester with a new DZ126T and everything worked fine. So, the Mistry Decoder remains ad such.

    When I tried reading it with 1000 ohms in parallel with the Zephyr's program A and B terminals, the only difference was that when trying to read Ad2, the motor buzand tester LEDflashes lasted much longer before the Zephyr responded with "d nd".

    From all of the tests that I have done, do you think that I just have not communicated with the proper language to this decoder, or is it just broken?

    Probably dead decoder. You can try a decoder reset (set CV8=8) and see if it then responds, but....
