Thanks for the photos, videos and explanation of how you made the mountain. I look forward to more posts as you finish this fabulous diorama.
OMG!! You guy's notice the difference in sound between the freight and passenger diesels?! Listen close, the freight GP sounds like a 567 chugging, and the passenger F's sound like they are more higher pitched! Sooooooo cool!! Awesome work!
Long time no post, life can get in the way of fun some times... As a postscript to this thread, I recently decided to sell this micro layout, so as part of the process, and not because I just wanted to play trains ;-) , I got some rolling stock out and shot some video! http://youtu.be/Ss3GWz0_Vrc http://youtu.be/mVgm9kv4fGI http://youtu.be/F_J_tRtZQ9E I just had some railfan video running in the background to provide the sounds effects, a bit hit or miss, but adds something The funds raised from the sale will go towards more model making, any Brits interested can have a look at it here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171141892558?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 Cheers, hopefully I will be able to post more work in the near future!
