Nice Work! I like the way the mountains dwarf the town.

    Wildcat,

The scenery looks excellent actually I've never seen a layout with so much scenery completed before the track is laid.

Do you have a trackplan we can view?

Also if you are looking for a site to host your pictures in an album dont forget about our sister site Rail Images

Look forward to seeing more of your progress.

That's a great scenery/rairoad ratio- most people accent the rails to the detriment of the scenery, while yours looks as though it will have easily enough rails to be intersting while keeping quite an impressive and interesting town/mountain/scene as well!

    Bravo!

I second Pauls idea of putting your pics into Railimages here (its free or you can send a donation if you like). If you have questions about it, he will give you a helping hand. You will be able to post your pics here directly without going to a link.

The layout looks good, you've almost put hundreds of hours into it. And like Paul said, I think your the first that had the scenery in before the track - but hey that seems to work for you.

Nice job, heh. Looks alot like entering Kamloops from the east and looking across the David Thompson at the CN coming down from Jasper. Nice color of the glacieral water. I couldn't believe the Ram River color when I first saw it. Really nice.

Marty, you are very close. It does represent the area from Banff across the Kettle Valley to somewhere in the Hope area.
I tried to incorporate scenery from Banff, Revelstoke, Salmon Arm, Kamloops, Princeton, Hope, Osoyoos and Grand Forks.

Spent lots of time in your neck of the woods. I was player manager of the Red Deer M&K Generals in the old Alberta Major Baseball League. Still have contacts with people there. Great place. John Ilick ran the team in Calgary. Those were great times. The last tournament was Kamloops.
