I had a three hour window today to visit Galesburg [IMG] .In that ammount of time I came home with 60 pictures of some of my favorite engines. My best shots were of BNSF Patched X-BN SD60M's in both white face schemes.I had not seen the Patch jobs but I now have some model work to do.Many Many BNSF Dash 9's,A Patched X ATSF SD75I,And the Burlington Zephyr. The SD45 GN HUstle Muscle was a noshow. That was the only downer of the day.And I missed the steam engine arrival. But My wife both my boys and myself once again had a great time and only in three hours there.Unfortunately I didn't get to the college to see the model trains but Mitch called and said they had a 60 module Nscale set up he was running on in the gym.
If you can make it on Sunday get there it is well worth it. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

clint you needed to look a little harder for the hustle muscle it was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we got on it and in it on sunday right at lunchtime! :D [IMG] other than that not much time spent uptown, everything was at the gym and i had a 155 car grain train run for 2 hours with only 1 derailment on sunday and that was because some lazy parent couldn't keep ahold of her kid, we need cattle prods at these shows now :D [IMG] as usual for gburg this show and railroad days was awesome. and also once again, little giant did more than his share and came up with a winner. i forgot to say we got escorted of the property by the hump saturday night by the railroad pokeys out by the hump, they should mark their roads with signs saying no tresspassing, we didn't know until it was too late that it went back to the hump!!! as soon as they get done i'll have some pics and try to see if someone will post them for me!

At the time I was there the Hustle Muscle wasn't there. The only thing on the track was the Zephyr and a Dash9.As I said I was only there for three hours.

My only complaint for RR Days...it went too fast! :( My wife and I got a late start on Friday so unfortunately we missed out on doing any railfanning. Friday night we helped Bloomington set up their layout, then got something to eat. Saturday, Tina and I ventured down to the Depot and saw the 261, and took a ride on the yard tour. Sunday we spent most of our time at the college for the train show, but were able to swing in down town quickly to get some pics of the Hustle Muscle. Mitch, man those Mopac SD80's looked real sharp, makes me wish UP had never took them over. Hmmm, maybe I'll paint up that Maine Central yellow and green B23-7 [IMG] I have not heard the totals for this years show, it looked a little light this year, maybe Harry will tell us.
