I built this car several years ago, but never took any decent photos. These photos aren't the best, but are much better than the old ones. Thanks for looking, Bobby 31062675473_2627841b95_b-3.jpg 31062676243_e1ebb01f26_b.jpg 31872102815_4d235d8219_b.jpg 31872187815_5938f5dcbf_b-4.jpg

Beautiful. Noticed the hatch cover had detailed hinges and closures. What did you use for the dome ends?

Mike, Doug, and Brenner, thank you for your positive reply, I appreciate it.
I rolled the tube from .015 sheet brass and add three bulkheads for strength. The ends were from a brass rod turned on a lathe. The details were scratched from brass, less the manway cover, air tank and the ABD valve. The car was used to haul Kymene from our local Hercules plant in Brunswick, GA to Macon, GA, a trip of 200 miles. Kymene was used to give paper that slick look. I was able to photograph and measure the car at the plant.

    Regards, Bobby
